Liam Gallagher’s Verdict on Oasis Rehearsals: A Brother’s Glowing Praise for Noel

Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher has
opened up about the band’s reunion tour rehearsals
, calling them “spiritual”.

The 52 year old singer shared insights into the first time he and his brother Noel have played together in 16 years, noting a major change: the once notoriously party-heavy Champagne Supernova rockers are now opting for sobriety during their sessions.

Liam
spoke about the atmosphere of their practice, remarking, “Yesterday was spiritual. Very professional we’re just ripping it up to ras. Were professionals no time for drinking.”

Despite their past feuds and the infamous backstage fight at a
Paris
festival in August 2009 that led to the band’s split, Liam seems focused on the music – describing how the Gallaghers are soberly tearing through rehearsals with an eye on precision over partying.

Noel, often seen commuting via the tube to rehearsals, had previously joined up with
guitarists
Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs and Gem Archer, and bassist Andy Bell without Liam, who has made his own way to sessions equipped with Lockets and cough syrup, reports the

.

When inquired about the dynamic with Noel, 58, Liam conveyed a sense of awe and joked about his adoration for his older brother, saying, “Noel has been devine. Can’t stop staring at him he might have to get a restraining order out on me can’t help it.”

As Oasis gears up for their much-awaited tour kickoff in Cardiff on July 4, which will also see them hit Manchester, London, Edinburgh, and Dublin before taking on global dates, it seems Liam is eager to embrace the experience without dwelling on past animosities.

After a hiatus of over 15 years, brothers Liam and Noel are set to reunite under the legendary Oasis banner for a worldwide tour – their first live performances since their split in 2009.

The tour, which will run from July through November 2025, includes 41 stadium dates across five continents and sold out almost immediately due to high ticket demand.

The tour will kick off with shows on July 4th and 5th at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, before moving on to Manchester’s Heaton Park for five big nights on July 11th, 12th, 16th, 19th, and 20th.

They will perform at London’s Wembley Stadium on July 25th, 26th, and 30th, then again on August 2nd and 3rd, with two additional fall shows added for September 27th and 28th due to overwhelming demand. Edinburgh is also part of the tour with three dates at Murrayfield Stadium on August 8th, 9th, and 12th, while fans in Dublin can look forward to welcoming the band back to Croke Park in mid-August, with dates still being finalized.
